What is Re-coding ???
Since 1981 car radios have been given security codes to reduce the chance of them being stolen.
Once the radio has been disconnected from its power it will lose its code settings, therefore rendering it useless to thieves.
Unfortunateley this became a problem for Main Dealers, Garage Sevices and Auto Electricians as once they disconnect the battery on a vehicle the code was needed, to enable the radio to work again.
